Let's Take This Outside.

Growing up in southern California, I have always enjoyed outdoor spaces. This probably stems from the fact that there are only a handful of days said outdoor spaces are off limits. So it only makes sense (to me) that in thinking about the new apartment I'm about to move into, my current fixation is almost entirely centered around this little outdoor balcony / patio we've got right outside the front door. I've always believed an outdoor space gives good insight into a person's character. For example, my previous roommate had our current patio FILLED with plants, two full-sized BBQ's and incredibly odd things she found on the sidewalks that she was convinced someday would be useful. You could hardly walk around -and that was her personality, she just liked to keep stuff, no matter its condition -which made her happy, so all the power to her! While I was living abroad, I kept up a blog on my travels. The second I got back, however, that blog got pushed aside in a very dark internet corner. Even though I really loved blogging and sharing all the new things I was seeing and experiencing, being back home made a switch go off in my brain, and for a while I was convinced that nothing I was doing now was note worthy. When I finally came around to realizing that everyday life back home was actually pretty cool too, I thought to myself "Yea..but I don't have a 'thing'". There are so many blogs (that I love) where the 'thing' is cooking, or re-purposing furniture, or interior design, and truth be told I do not have the attention span to dedicate myself to one thing.
